P.R.Y.D.E.The P.R.Y.D.E. Program is an intervention program that serves youth between the ages of 8 and 17 who have exhibited or engaged in delinquent behavior. Youth are serviced through an eight hour life skills class in which skill development in the areas of communication, problem solving, and social skills as well as education in drugs, goal setting and juvenile laws are the focus. Upon completion of the program, youth receive a free membership for use at any YMCA facility for a period of one year. The cost of the program is $93. Classes are held on Saturdays from 8:30-4:30 at the Glendale/Peoria or Mesa branches. Lunch is provided. Youth must be registered to attend class.
