Youth Programs:


South Mountain Karate Kids
Help your child build confidence and assertiveness! Come Join the South Mountain Karate and learn the core values of Honor, Courage, and Commitment. This class is specialized to teaching children ages 4-14. Classes run every Monday and Wednesday from 5pm- 6pm. To enroll contact Membership Services at

South Mountain Dancing Y's
Sign up Today for our new Dance instruction class!  In this program your child will learn an extensive knowledge in Contemporary, Modern, Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop, and Latin styles.  The dance class is every Saturday from 10:45am- 12:00pm (depending on class section).  For more details please contact Bryce Werre at 602-276-4246.

Activate Arizona Kids Club
The purpose of this program is to motivate and guide your child towards living a more physically active life. The program will incorporate nutrition and health through sports, stength training, and fun. AAKC is designed so when your child leaves they can take what they had learned and incorporate it into their daily lives! Need that extra motivation to get you started? Sign up with a Personal Trainer and get a head start on the Holiday Stress! We offer numerous training programs for individual One on One or Small Group training. Participants will learn proper workout techniques, eating habits, and fun challenging new workouts! Talk to with our Health and Wellness Staff today!

Take a step back for a new twist on old training!  KettleBell!  Sign up for a 30 minute high intensity work out with Joseph Grant.  Increase your core strength, burn fat, and increase muscle tone using the Russian KettleBell technique.  See member services to schedule a class today minimum 2 participants.

Are you Tired of working out by yourself?  
Find a workout buddy or four and join one of our many small group training sessions.  These many group training sessions are designed for full body training.  We focus on the functional movement training that will increase the flexibility and accessibility of your day to day routine.  You will increase muscle strength and tone while having fun in a group setting.  Try one of our classes: ViPR, TRX, Battling Rope, KettleBell, The Works, or Combo Circuit. 

Not sure where to start before the New Year! 
Come join us for Jump Start! This 45 minute circuit program gives you a group environment, trainer lead, and a small taste of intensity! Program participation improves general conditioning, body composition, muscular endurance & strength and cardiovascular fitness. This program is guaranteed to get you ready to move onto to our other programs.
Silver Start Circuit Program- Improve endurance, flexibility, and strength while getting a full-body workout designed just for the active, older adults.

Looking for a great swim instructor?
Just because the winter is here doesn't mean that swimming STOPS!  Beat the rush before summer and come learn to swim in our outdoor HEATED pool.  We offer numerous levels of instruction from beginner to advanced and group to private.  Our instructors will get you moving!
Interested in more Swimming?
Join the South Mountain Swim Team!  All practices meet Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 4:30pm- 5:30pm.  This team is a perfect activity and club for anyone ages 6- 17 years old!  For more information about lessons or clubs please contact Bryce Werre 602-257-5125






Sports programs:

Kids can enjoy their favorite sport all year around.
