1. Shallow Water Class

Taught in the shallow end of the pool, this very popular class designed for the general population where all are welcome. The class participant will experience a great cardio workout while providing low-impact, muscular resistance and a wide range of exercises.

Taught in the deep water without touching the bottom of the pool, this class provides the least impact and the most resistance.

Each class is designed for men and women who want a more challenging workout and will incorporate properties of water and equipment to make this class a great muscular challenge.

4. Silver Splash

Activate your urge for variety! This class offers lots of fun and shallow water moves to improve agility, flexibility and cardiovascular endurance. No swimming skills are required. A variety of equipment may be utilized during this class as well. This class is a perfect compliment for those who participant in the YMCA's Silver Sneaker Program!

6. Aquatic Boot Camp

This seasonal program (May, June and July) incorporates all of the land based Boot Camp activities and movements into the water and will replace the current Health and Fitness Boot Camp program during the summer months. A perfect class for those seeking a challenging and intense water workout.  No previous experience required and you do not need to be a strong swimmer to reap the benefits of AQUA BOOT CAMP!

7. Aqua Zumba

Known as the Zumba "pool party," Aqua Zumba gives new meaning to the idea of an invigorating workout. Splashing, stretching, twisting, even shouting, laughing, hooting and hollering are often heard during an Aqua Zumba class. Integrating the Zumba formula and philosophy with traditional aqua fitness disciplines, Aqua Zumba blends it all together into a safe, challenging, water-based workout that’s cardio-conditioning, body-toning, and most of all, exhilarating beyond belief.

8. Gentle Moves - H2O

This class is designed specifically for people with arthritis, fibromyalgia and related diseases. Specifically desiged exercises help participants improve their joint flexibility and reduce their pain and stiffness while supported by the water's buoyancy and resistance.
